Meliva Rehab Ytterby Meliva Rehab is planning to open a new clinic in Ytterby along Marstrandsvägen. At the same time, Meliva VC operations will start in the same building. About the Position The region is reviewing our application to start a healthcare choice program within rehab. Meliva Rehab, together with the Health Center and BVC, plans to launch operations on November 1, 2026. We are looking for an occupational therapist who wants to help build our operations from the ground up. As an occupational therapist at Meliva Rehab Ytterby, you will work with rehabilitation at the primary care level in accordance with the requirements specified in the Health and Medical Services Act and within the Requirements and Quality Book for Healthcare Choice Rehab. Our goal is to guide patients of all ages and create a sense of security through genuine personal engagement. We view it very positively if you have an interest in healthcare digitalization and new working methods. Your tasks as an occupational therapist include assessing and treating patients in areas such as hand function, pain, mental health, and cognitive impairment. Your work also includes prescribing assistive devices and providing certificates for home adaptations. You will meet patients at the clinic, through home visits, or at digital meetings. Patient treatment is conducted both individually and in groups. The work involves collaboration with other professionals within and outside the unit to provide assessment and treatment based on the patient's individual rehabilitation plan and needs. We value patient participation and influence over their care to facilitate preventive health work and support self-care. Together with colleagues and your manager, you are responsible for the development of the operations and ongoing continuous improvement work with great opportunities to influence your daily work. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in primary care is a merit. Basic competence in insurance medicine as required by VGR, as well as competence to prescribe assistive devices. Trainer education is a merit. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, including flexibility.
