Duties The position is located at Furubacken in Fränsta, which is your primary workplace where you have an office. The role includes work within the municipality's special residential facilities, short-term care, and dementia services. As an occupational therapist, you will, among other things, conduct activity assessments of patients and perform occupational therapeutic interventions to support functioning in daily activities, which requires flexibility and resourcefulness. You will also prescribe assistive devices, provide staff guidance, and work with writing certificates for housing adaptation grants. You work closely with physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses, managers, and nursing assistants. It is therefore beneficial if you have experience working in multiprofessional teams. A large part of the work consists of guidance and providing instructions. We therefore value strong pedagogical skills. Qualifications We seek someone who is a licensed occupational therapist and has the ability to see the whole picture regarding an individual's needs and collaborate with other professional groups. We welcome both those with previous work experience as an occupational therapist and newly graduated professionals. A driver's license and good computer skills are required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Additional Information Permanent position with start date by agreement. A trial period may be applied.
