Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis. 2 position(s). WORK TASKS As an occupational therapist with us, you will work to support people in their daily lives, with a focus on promoting independence, participation and health. You will work in ordinary housing and in special housing for elderly people and people with disabilities (LSS). You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work closely with nurses, physiotherapists, benefits officers and care staff. Your work tasks include: · Assessment of activity capacity and need for assistive devices · Testing and prescription of assistive devices · Guidance and training of staff · Documentation and follow-up according to applicable guidelines QUALIFICATIONS • Are a licensed occupational therapist • Have a rehabilitation-oriented approach and good collaboration skills • Are independent, flexible and have a genuine interest in people • Have a B driving license (requirement) Before employment, a registry extract must be presented according to law 2026:43 Law on background checks for work in the home with elderly people or adults with disabilities Employment form: Permanent position. In Pajala Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. This means that the salary is set based on applicable collective agreement – general provisions including appendices and the municipality's salary policy. Upon new employment, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the requirements of the position. The minimum starting salary is 23,638 SEK. For employees who have vocational preparation secondary education, the starting salary is 25,798 SEK. Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, so it is a merit if you have knowledge of one or both of these languages.
