WORK TASKS We are now investing in rehabilitation and are therefore looking for two occupational therapists for our team within municipal health and medical care! Do you want to make a difference in people's daily lives and contribute to increased quality of life? Then you might be the one we're looking for! As an occupational therapist with us, you work to support people in their daily lives, with a focus on promoting independence, participation and health. You will work in ordinary housing and in special housing for the elderly and persons with disabilities (LSS). You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work closely with nurses, physiotherapists, assistance officers and care personnel. Your work tasks include: · Assessment of activity capacity and need for assistive devices · Testing and prescription of assistive devices · Guidance and training of staff · Documentation and follow-up according to applicable guidelines QUALIFICATIONS • Are a licensed occupational therapist • Have a rehabilitative approach and good collaboration skills • Are independent, flexible and have a genuine interest in people • Have a B driver's license (requirement) Before employment, a register extract must be presented according to law 2026:43 Law on background checks for work in the home for elderly people or adults with disabilities Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement, employment takes place continuously during the recruitment period. We only accept digital applications. For certain positions in Pajala Municipality, according to law, a valid extract from the criminal record register and/or suspicion register must be presented before employment. In Pajala Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. This means that the salary is set based on applicable collective agreements – general provisions including annexes as well as the municipality's salary policy. Upon new employment, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the requirements placed on the position. The minimum starting salary is 23,638 kr. For employees with vocational preparatory upper secondary education, the starting salary is 25,798 kr. Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, therefore it is a merit if you have knowledge of one or both of these languages.
