Occupational Therapist for a consulting position in home healthcare – Umeå. Vårdlänken is now seeking a licensed occupational therapist for an exciting consulting position in home healthcare and short-term care. We are looking for someone interested in working in home healthcare and short-term care together with a dedicated and competent rehabilitation team where collaboration, work satisfaction, and development are in focus! About the Assignment Home healthcare and short-term care in Umeå consists of occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and nursing assistants who work together to provide the best possible care for patients. The rehabilitation team currently has 21 occupational therapists, 12 physical therapists/physiotherapists, and 3 rehabilitation coordinators who work closely together and support each other in daily work. The operation is now being strengthened to further develop teamwork and create even better opportunities for preventive and rehabilitative interventions through a person-centered approach. The target group is patients aged 18 and above who need healthcare in ordinary housing within Umeå municipality. Your Responsibilities As an occupational therapist, you work to create conditions for patients to remain at home and live as independently as possible. Your responsibilities include: Assessing activity capacity and living environment Prescribing assistive devices Writing medical certificates Guidance and support to home care staff Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams You will become an important part of the operation and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of future home healthcare. We are Looking for Someone Who Is a licensed occupational therapist Has a valid driver's license (category B) Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is a merit if you have experience in home healthcare, geriatric rehabilitation, or teamwork, but we also welcome you with other relevant experience. As a person, you are positive, responsible, and engaged. You enjoy collaborating with others while feeling confident working independently. You have a professional and warm approach and enjoy bringing energy and work satisfaction to the team. Heavy lifting may occur and transfer aids are used in the work.
