AcadeMedia Primary Schools has a central student health services department that works to provide comprehensive student health support and ensure all students complete primary school with passing grades in all subjects and are eligible for upper secondary school!
The central student health services includes statutory student health interventions and a system administrator, Prorenata trainer. The Head of Central Student Health and Operations Manager ensure patient safety is satisfactory and of good quality, and therefore delegate individual management tasks to two Lead School Nurses, a Lead Psychologist, and a Lead School Physician. The medical team meets weekly and also collaborates regularly with the entire central student health services. Our schools are located throughout Sweden, which means travel is required for the role. The position is based in Stockholm.
What we offer
Your work includes conducting systematized internal training initiatives primarily for school nurses, profession-specific meetings, and in some cases training for the entire student health team. Training takes place in groups, individually, via Teams, phone calls, and in-person meetings. You are responsible for self-evaluations and follow-ups conducted during the school year and report to the Training Director, with dialogue with the principal and relevant management. The role involves supporting school nurses in daily operations, both new and experienced. You are responsible for planning and onboarding new employees and managing the medical component in Prorenata. You will work closely with the principal who has personnel responsibility for locally employed school nurses. The position includes standard management tasks and systematized internal audits.
What we're looking for
We seek someone with extensive experience in student health medical services. You must be a licensed nurse with specialist education in healthcare for children and youth or in open healthcare. Previous management experience is a merit. It is also advantageous if you currently work with us and are familiar with our routines and processes.
As a person, you are approachable, enjoy the training role, have strong analytical skills, are organized, flexible, and thorough. You thrive working in multidisciplinary teams but are also independent and methodical. You have a strong commitment to quality work and are familiar with research, legislation, and governance documents in this field. The position requires excellent computer skills and strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and video conferencing tools such as Teams.
