In the role of deckhand with us, the duties include: Loading and unloading cargo, including with a truck When needed, assisting the captain, customers, and partners Being aware of and complying with applicable safety regulations and company procedures Regular operation and maintenance of cargo vessels, which may also include minor repairs, machinery lubrication, and hygiene routines This is a position for someone who likes to take initiative at work. You are comfortable working physically and understand the importance of cooperation. We also believe you have an understanding of logistics and delivery. You have computer skills, are meticulous, and pick up new systems quickly. You have a positive attitude, the ability to be flexible, to follow instructions, and to get the job done even when conditions change.
