Job Description As a supervisor for our drivers at the terminal in Gävle, you'll become part of an operation with approximately 100 employees. You'll be responsible for staffing the team, leading and distributing daily work, and ensuring that our routines and working methods are followed. An important part of the role is being close to the operations and our employees. You'll coach and support drivers in their daily work and contribute to creating a well-functioning team where quality, efficiency, and job satisfaction are in focus. Your responsibilities include: · planning, staffing, leading, and distributing daily work · coaching, supporting, and motivating drivers · ensuring that routines, quality, and working methods are followed · approving time reports · participating in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees · when needed, supporting operational activities and accompanying drivers on their routes. Since the role requires you to be able to work operationally when needed, a Class C driver's license is a requirement. You'll report directly to the site manager in Gävle and become an important part of continuing to develop our growing operations. We offer a trial employment with the intention that the position will then transition to a permanent employment contract. Who Are We Looking For? We're seeking someone who is reliable, engaged, and present as a leader. You enjoy working with people and have the ability to create structure while managing the rapid changes that are a natural part of the transport and logistics industry. To succeed in this role, you need to: · have previous supervisory experience or other relevant leadership experience · hold a Class C driver's license · be structured, solution-oriented, and responsible · have the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate others · be able to prioritize and make decisions even when the pace is high · have good system knowledge and feel comfortable with digital work tools. It's advantageous if you have forklift certification, tractor experience, and/or experience with general cargo handling. For us, your leadership style is at least as important as your experience.
