About the Position
As a laser operator, you will work with setup and operation of 2D laser cutting machines. You handle materials and production programs, make simple machine and parameter adjustments, and verify that finished parts meet the correct quality standards.
The role also includes reading technical drawings, measuring and inspecting parts according to dimensions and tolerances, and performing simple troubleshooting and maintenance. You work independently but maintain close contact with production and contribute to a safe and efficient production flow.
About You
Formal Qualifications
We are looking for someone with practical experience in 2D laser cutting, CNC, or similar machine processing. You have good experience with drawing interpretation and measurement techniques and understand dimensions, tolerances, and drawing symbols.
As a person, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and responsible. You are practical-minded, technically interested, and good at solving simple problems. You work in a structured and independent manner after introduction and have a clear focus on quality and safety.
You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Desirable Qualifications
It is advantageous if you have experience with 2D laser cutting machines from manufacturers such as Trumpf, Bystronic, or Amada, as well as experience with CAD/CAM, nesting, LEAN, 5S, or other improvement initiatives. A forklift license and experience in materials handling are also advantageous, as is relevant education in industrial engineering, CNC, or manufacturing technology.
