Our Operations and Maintenance department is responsible for supervision, repair and operation of grounds, buildings and installations over time with good technical status and satisfied customers. This is achieved through close cooperation with the customer, other departments of the administration and other organizations in the city. The department is responsible for carrying out inspections required by authorities and contributes to the development of energy-saving measures. We carry out the tasks ordered by our customers. Work Tasks We are now looking for an alarm engineer for our work group at the Alarm, Electrical and Lift unit. As an alarm engineer, you are responsible for ensuring the function, reliability and regulatory compliance of the properties' alarm and security systems. You will plan, order and follow up the administration's contracts regarding fire alarms, burglar alarms, access systems, camera surveillance and sprinkler systems. You order and are responsible for service visits and inspections for the various areas within security installation. An important part of the work will be to prepare documentation for the annual report and budget for the area. Minor engineering and/or project management of security systems may be included in the position. Qualifications For this position we want you to have: A higher education degree in security systems, electrical, alarm or similar, or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent Several years of professional experience in the field Good computer skills, especially experience working with computerized security monitoring systems IT knowledge, Alarm transmitters Class B driving license We consider it a merit if you have: Experience with fire alarm installations in properties Certification in the field Experience with budget/financial work Experience with engineering/project management To get the best conditions in this role, you need good communication skills.
