Your Assignment: Teacher Substitute We operate 10 small, personnel-intensive care schools with a focus on quality, engagement, and collaboration. The schools offer place-based adult education in care and health subjects at level 1, with a team consisting of vocational teachers, Swedish language teachers, trained pedagogues, and when needed, language support and special education teachers. With a teacher-to-student ratio of 5-6 students per educator and motivated students, we expect very good results. Teacher Substitute You will fill a gap for both planned and unplanned absences. With pedagogical ability and decisiveness, you can temporarily take on the role of teaching adult students based on existing lesson plans. Teaching experience is your best platform for quickly taking on the role, particularly experience with adult education. Pedagogical training is your tool for successfully conveying knowledge in your teaching. Teaching takes place on-site in Nässjö, full-time. Your Competence and Background We are seeking several different roles. You are welcome to apply if you match at least one of the following options. You are a retired teacher who wants to work occasionally. Your many years of professional experience provide natural confidence in the role, and you know how to capture a group's attention. You know your job. or You are a vocational teacher in Care and Health, and have the ability to step in for short periods of 1-4 weeks. Perhaps you have a temporary position and want to earn extra, or you currently work in something else and miss the teaching aspects. or You have a started or completed pedagogical education but lack professional experience, and want to get your foot in the profession. You want to gather teaching experience. or You already work as a substitute teacher in adult education, but want to work more. A few isolated weeks or sometimes just a few days. You are comfortable in the role of substitute teacher. or You have several years of professional experience from care and health work in the role of Nursing Assistant or Registered Nurse, and want to share your knowledge with future colleagues. or You have teacher certification for upper secondary school/Komvux in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language, and can convey subject knowledge in Swedish in a way that appeals to adult students. or full package You have teacher certification in care and health work, or equivalent documented education. Added Value Regardless of your background, you will be valuable to us if you meet at least one of the requirements above. As added value, we highlight experience with adult education, knowledge of non-European languages, certification in other subjects at upper secondary/Komvux level, and your willingness to step in with short notice. Documentation and Materials All pedagogical positions involve documentation as well as good collaboration with colleagues and authorities. Good digital competence is required in small units that use several digital tools. Teaching materials are available both digitally on It'sLearning and in printed format. You know how to motivate students to reach their goals, have good social competence, and a willingness to work in a team. Your flexible approach allows you to solve problems.
