Your Assignment: Teacher Substitute We operate 10 small, personnel-intensive care schools with a focus on quality, engagement, and collaboration. The schools offer on-site adult education in care and nursing at level 1, with a team consisting of vocational teachers, Swedish language teachers, trained pedagogues, and when needed, language support and special education teachers. With a teacher ratio of 5-6 students per educator and motivated students, we expect very good results. Teacher Substitute You will fill a gap during both planned and unplanned absences. With pedagogical ability and initiative, you can temporarily take on the role of teaching adult students based on existing planning. Teaching experience is your best platform for quickly assuming the role, particularly experience with adult education. Pedagogical training is your tool for successfully conveying knowledge in your teaching. Teaching is conducted on-site in Borlänge, on a full-time basis. Your Competence and Background We are seeking several different roles. You are welcome to apply if you match at least one of the options below. You are a retired teacher who wants to work occasionally. Your many years of professional experience provide natural confidence in the role, and you know how to capture a group's attention. You know your job. or You are a vocational teacher in Care and Nursing, and have the opportunity to step in for short periods of 1-4 weeks. Perhaps you have a summer position and want to earn extra, or you currently work in something else and miss the teaching aspects. or You have started or completed pedagogical training but lack professional experience, and want to get a foot in the profession. You want to gain teaching experience. or You already work today as a substitute within adult education, but want to work more. A few occasional weeks or sometimes just a few days. You are comfortable with the role of substitute teacher. or You have several years of professional experience from care and nursing work in the role of Assistant Nurse or Registered Nurse, and want to share your knowledge with future colleagues. or You have teaching certification for upper secondary school/Komvux in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language, and can convey subject knowledge in Swedish in a way that appeals to adult students. or full points You have teaching certification in care and nursing work, or equivalent documented education. Added Value Regardless of your background, you will be of value to us if you meet at least one of the requirements above. As added value, we appreciate experience with adult education, knowledge of non-European languages, certification in other subjects at upper secondary/Komvux level, and your willingness to step in with short notice. Documentation and Materials All pedagogical services involve documentation and good collaboration with colleagues and authorities. Good digital skills are required in small units that use several digital tools. Teaching materials are available both digitally on It'sLearning and in printed format. Your Personality You love helping people, and you are passionate about sharing knowledge. You know how to motivate students to reach their goals, have good social skills, and a willingness to work in a team. Your flexible approach enables you to solve problems.
