Our adapted primary school is a growing operation with currently 40 students from F-9. By fall, we will have more students, and we are therefore looking for someone who is competent, curious, and engaged and who, together with us, wants to continue building and developing our operations. We collaborate with other schools in Farsta to provide equivalent education in a safe environment. We want our school to be the best and natural choice for all children and young people living in our area and the best school for all students who attend here. Your role Since our operations are growing, we are looking for you who have a burning interest in developing operations together with colleagues. This year, the entire school has joint work on teaching development. We are looking for you who wants to continue developing and refining our already fantastic adapted primary school. You see challenges as inspiring and possess creative innovation. Your main task as a teacher/special education teacher in adapted primary school will be to teach students in both subjects and subject areas and also be a mentor for the students. Your assignment includes developing teaching in Agr and, together with colleagues, being a driving force in this work. Your assignment also includes following up on and assessing students' learning and development according to the MIRA model and on InfoMentor. Your assignment also includes close contact with guardians to make students' learning visible. As part of our adapted primary school team, you are expected to collaborate with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure that students receive the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development throughout their day at school. This is so that, based on their own circumstances, they can develop as far as possible according to educational goals both academically and socially. In your role as a teacher/special education teacher, you are expected to propose interventions and adjustments for students in need and participate in developing action plans as well as follow-up and evaluation of these. Your competence and experience We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the following competencies: You have good collaboration skills and can create good relationships as the work involves many contact points with students, staff, and guardians. You must have teacher certification. You must have documented experience working in adapted primary school. You must have knowledge of explicit instruction and differentiated teaching. You should have good experience leading colleagues and be comfortable in your leadership role (as a teacher). You need to be patient, attentive, and inclusive. You are passionate about collaboration and have a humble approach. Stockholm City uses competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus preventing discrimination. To work at our schools, you must present a valid extract from the police's criminal records register and suspicion register before an employment offer is made. Within the Education Administration, we apply individual salary setting regulated by HÖK and General Provisions (AB).
