About the Position The position involves you as a teacher/driving examiner for upper secondary school planning, conducting, and evaluating driving practice and instruction in vocational subjects on the Vehicle and Transport Program within the Transport specialization. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of workshops and basic maintenance. The role also includes responsibility for Work-Based Learning (APL) coordination. This role encompasses acquiring placements, visiting companies, and connecting APL to courses and course objectives. In your role, you will also serve as a mentor for a number of students and be part of the collaborative planning and development work in the Vehicle and Transport team at the school. Your Profile We are looking for you who are trained as a teacher or driving examiner in vehicle and transport, or who have another background that the employer considers equivalent. The ability to conduct driving practice/training for licenses B, C, YKB, and CE is of great importance. We would like you to have experience from both work in the transport industry and teaching at upper secondary level. You are engaged and have a strong interest in working with young people. We also place great importance on your ability to collaborate, flexibility, and your professional expertise. To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical ability and a positive, solution-oriented approach. We want you to be able to see the bigger picture and enjoy collaborating with colleagues in the team to advance the development of pedagogical work at the school and within your program. You should have the sensitivity to meet each student based on their needs and circumstances, be creative and solution-focused. It is important that you can build good relationships with both students at the school, their parents, and your colleagues.
