Our geographic location provides excellent conditions for using the local environment as a learning context in various ways. We see it as natural that parts of teaching take place outdoors. Lillkyrkaskolan is a small school and we have a library, music room, textile room, wood and metal workshop, full-size gymnasium, and dedicated spaces for our after-school activities. At Lillkyrkaskolan we have students from preschool through grade 6. We have approximately 150 students and about 20 staff members. Our staff members have high qualifications both within school and after-school care. We share our expertise through collaboration in teacher teams and through a developmental collegial exchange in common meetings every week. Our approach is: "We want to develop. We are never finished." We share the view that we should look for answers to students' difficulties in the learning environment and teaching situations, not in the student themselves. We have high goal achievement and we continuously and systematically follow up on student learning throughout the school year. Lillkyrkaskolan is making good progress in digitalization. Our classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and students have access to digital working tools from preschool onwards. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a teacher in grades 4-6, you will become part of a dedicated and competent teacher team where the focus is on student learning, development, and future hope. This fall we are strengthening our team with an additional teacher to create space for close and flexible work around students' different needs and conditions. You will plan, deliver, and follow up on instruction and together with colleagues analyze students' learning development and adapt teaching based on student needs. The work involves close collaboration with teachers in grades 4-6, where together you develop instruction and create good opportunities for all students to succeed. The assignment also includes contributing to the school's joint work on safety, study environment, and teaching that awakens students' desire to learn. You are expected to actively contribute your expertise and ideas to the team and be part of the school's systematic quality work. This position is a fixed-term reinforcement for the fall and is suitable for you who want to be part of a skilled teacher team and contribute to students' continued learning development. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: Holds teacher certification and qualification to teach in elementary school, with a focus on grades 4-6 or F-3. You have a strong ability to plan, deliver, and follow up on instruction based on students' different needs and conditions with a clear focus on student learning and achievement. You are confident in your teacher role and build good relationships with students. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with colleagues. You are flexible, engaged, and solutions-focused and see opportunities to contribute where needs arise.
