We are seeking an engaged German teacher to teach all students in grade 6 throughout Arvika Municipality – do you thrive in a varied role where you get to meet different students with different needs where no two days are the same? Then you might be the person we're looking for! The position encompasses 70%, where you will travel between different operations within the municipality. Qualifications To succeed in the role of German teacher, we see that you have: Teacher certification with authorization in German. Ability to create an inclusive, clear, and motivating learning environment. Good ability to plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in accordance with governing documents. Class B driver's license and access to your own vehicle. It is also advantageous if as a German teacher you also have: Experience teaching in grade 6 is advantageous. To thrive in the role of German teacher, we see that as a person you are a confident and engaged educator with a strong ability to meet students at different developmental levels. You adapt your work methods and communication easily to the needs of the student group and enjoy switching between teaching different groups within grade 6. You are flexible and solution-oriented, and you can quickly adjust when circumstances change in the operation. You work in a structured manner, while at the same time having a creative side that helps you find varied teaching methods that inspire students. As a person, you are cooperative and actively contribute to a positive and professional work environment. You have a good ability to build relationships, create security, and motivate students to develop in their language skills. Area of Responsibility In your tasks as a German teacher, you will: Teach students in grade 6 in German at all our school operations (Kyrkeby, Gate, Dottevik, Sulvik, Järven, and Edane). Plan, prepare, and conduct teaching in accordance with the curriculum and the municipality's guidelines. Assess, document, and follow up on students' knowledge development.
