Our Operations Brunns School is a pre-K through 9th grade school with approximately 525 students. The school is located on Ingarö, a 30-minute bus ride from Slussen. The school works with digital tools and has a very good digital infrastructure. With respect – joy – participation, we work with our focus areas: - study culture – safety and work peace, - promote increased attendance, - knowledge to improve reading and writing skills in all subjects and strengthen mathematics. Your Assignment The role as a crafts teacher means you are part of a work team. You are responsible for teaching in your subject and may be a mentor in a class. You will teach in a pleasant craft room. It is teaching in grades 3-9, as well as in our municipality-wide small teaching groups within autism, KSU, for grades 3-9. As a mentor, your most important task is to motivate students to study and strengthen their self-esteem and social development. We use Vklass as a tool in planning and follow-up work, as well as in contact with parents and students. Your Experience We are looking for you who have teacher certification with authorization to teach wood and metal crafts in grades 3-9. As a person, you are responsive to students' needs, clear, respectful, and with great ability to collaborate with both our students and the school's adults. You are a driven and engaged teacher who likes to challenge and be challenged and who has high expectations for your students. For this position, presentation of a valid extract from the police's suspicion and criminal record register is a requirement for employment.
