JOB DUTIES We are seeking a dedicated teacher who wants to work with us at Ängelholms gymnasieskola to inspire students and create a school where both students and staff feel highly engaged. Together we strive to continuously improve the content and results of our operations. The role includes teaching, assessment, planning and mentorship, as well as other customary tasks within the scope of the teacher role. You will be part of a teaching team within your subject area and will work to develop teaching together with other educators. In addition to this, the role includes regular contact with workplaces we collaborate with. These contacts are of great importance, as the content and format of the education have been developed in close collaboration with representatives from the care and health services sector. The close link between education and work permeates the learning experience. Our students spend their first upper secondary year at the gymnasium, but in years two and three, teaching is conducted largely at a workplace through APL (workplace-based learning). The position is located at Rönnegymnasiet in central Ängelholm. QUALIFICATIONS You have professional experience from the care and health services sector. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and it is possible to apply for the position even if you do not have formal vocational teacher training. Your subject-specific knowledge is complemented by other important qualities that contribute to creating a good working environment for students and staff. As a vocational teacher, for example, the ability to communicate is an important asset, both towards students, parents/guardians, colleagues and workplace representatives. In your communication you are therefore calm, attentive, flexible and friendly. You have a natural ability to build trust. It is also important that you are perceived as a safe and clear leader in various teaching situations, and that you can inspire and engage students in learning based on their varied circumstances. You see learning as an important part of both students' and your own personal development. Students are your highest priority and you collaborate with students and staff in an unpretentious manner so that the operation can thrive. It is a given that you use digital tools.
