Your duties
You will teach students in our special education groups. We are looking for two certified primary school teachers with qualifications to teach grades 1-6. One position is located in Bäckby Group 1 with teaching in grades 1-3 and the other in Bäckby Group 2 with teaching in grades 4-6.
You will work in close collaboration with your colleagues in the group, but also have significant cooperation with the student's guardians and various organizations working with the student. We work with individual goals and plans for each student's unique conditions, and we often need to think outside the box when it comes to adapting both materials and teaching methods. To see and follow the student's knowledge development, we have a 1-9 perspective in KSU. We work solution-focused and always find solutions together for what needs to be done in our activities.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone who is driven and motivated by seeing progress, large and small! It is required that you are confident and experienced in your teaching role since we often need to think quickly. To thrive with us, you should want to engage in a small group of students who all have different strengths and challenges.
You are a certified primary school teacher with qualifications to teach grades 1-6. You have knowledge and experience working with children and young people in need of special support. If you have knowledge of various disabilities, this is advantageous. For this position, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. If you have knowledge of reading and writing instruction, this is an advantage for the position.
What we offer
Municipal Special Education Group, KSU, consists of 15 groups. The groups are located at primary schools or in close proximity to a municipal school. Each group works independently and based on its conditions. Students work according to the primary school curriculum and we all work from a common mission. The mission involves teaching in smaller groups where we as teachers focus on individualized instruction. Our goal is to be able to make a difference for children and young people, and with collective effort work towards increased goal attainment and a desire to learn.

Before you can be employed, we conduct a background check and you need to show an approved criminal record certificate from the police.
During the interview, you will need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EES, or Switzerland, you must provide proof that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
