Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is valued and works together to deliver the best possible service.
Strömstiernaskolan is centrally located with proximity to nature and the sea. We work purposefully and strategically to help our students achieve their educational goals and reach upper secondary school eligibility. An important part of this is our values-based work, guided by the keywords STARS – collaboration, safety, responsibility, respect, and pride.
At the school, in addition to teachers and administration, there is a full-time special educator and specialist teachers assigned to each team in grades 7, 8, and 9. The school has a safety team with social pedagogues who work together with other staff members on the social mission.
Our student support team includes study and career counselors, school nurse, school psychologist, school counselor, and special educator. A speech-language pathologist is also available when needed. We can offer you a strong team to join, both in terms of engaged teaching colleagues and supportive resources.
