Job Duties We are looking for you as a certified teacher with a strong commitment to students who need extra support to succeed in their schooling. You are a clear leader who creates structure, safety, and good relationships, while maintaining high expectations for student development and learning. As a teacher in our special education group, you work with students who need a smaller setting and more customized support to reach as far as possible based on their conditions. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction as well as creating a safe learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop both academically and socially. Your work takes place in close collaboration with guardians, classroom teachers, student welfare services, and school leadership. Together, you work to create conditions for student attendance, learning, and well-being. You actively contribute to developing the special education group and are an important part of the school's work to increase goal achievement, safety, and a sound study environment. Qualifications We are looking for you who: Are a certified teacher with qualification to teach in primary school. Have experience working with students in need of special support. Have the ability to build relationships and create safety while being clear and consistent in your leadership. Have experience adapting instruction based on students' different needs and conditions. Work in a structured, solution-focused manner and have good collaboration skills. See the importance of working closely with student welfare services and other professionals around the student. It is an advantage if you have experience working in a special education group, resource school, or other facility for students with extensive support needs. You are a person who meets students, guardians, and colleagues with respect, warmth, and professionalism. You have a low-affect and relational approach and the ability to handle challenging situations with calmness and confidence. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
