JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
At Vrigstad School, we have a combined school day and work with after-school activities in school (FRIS) in grades F-2. As a teacher in the after-school program, you work with FRIS sessions, in the after-school program, but may also have teaching responsibilities in the school. For school year 26/27, Vrigstad School and after-school program are expanding, and we will move our after-school program to new premises during the school year. As a teacher at Vrigstad School and after-school program, you share joint responsibility for your work tasks with your team. The position includes FRIS in preschool class and after-school program. In current staffing planning, the position also includes one session of civic orientation (Hkk) in grade 6 per week.
At Vrigstad School, we work in varied ways with both analog and digital tools to support student learning. We work comprehensively at the school with safety and accessibility as well as to develop the quality of instruction.
Together with the student welfare team and the school's Safety Team, we work preventively and proactively to ensure our students feel safe and well.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a teaching certification for after-school program with eligibility to teach certain school subjects, an F-3 teacher education or ongoing teacher training.
You can demonstrate good collaboration skills with both internal and external people involved with the group. You maintain professional conduct in all situations and have experience showing that you can be flexible with different students' personalities and abilities.
We place great emphasis on the applicant's personal qualities.
Good Swedish language skills are required.
Experience working with children and in the school environment is meritorious.
