About the Workplace Angereds Gymnasium is a secondary school offering both national and introductory programs, as well as a National Gymnasium for students with mobility disabilities. Job Responsibilities As a support educator, you work closely with students in need of special support and are an important part of the school's safety team. Together, you work preventively and promotively to create good learning environments and support students in their academic situation, both individually and in groups. You will teach your own courses. Work to create motivation and contribute to increased attendance, participate in planning, implementation, and follow-up of support measures. You collaborate with teachers, student services, and external partners. Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment. The role involves both practical day-to-day support and pedagogical development work together with colleagues. Qualifications We are looking for you, a certified secondary school teacher with the authority to teach mathematics and one additional subject. The second subject should be in languages, natural sciences, or a social studies subject. You work safely and efficiently with digital tools and use them as a natural part of both planning and teaching. You have a strong ability to work consultatively and mentor educators in matters concerning learning, accessible learning environments, and teaching adaptations. You are analytical, structured, and have a solution-focused approach. You get energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different audiences and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You have the ability to work together with others to accomplish tasks and reach goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you work toward a respectful workplace climate.
