JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will report to a principal as your immediate supervisor and be part of a work team with your colleagues led by a team leader. In your role as a teacher, you have responsibility for: • planning, implementing, following up and evaluating instruction based on the school's governing documents • participating in collaborative learning to enable joint planning, assessment, and grading • participating in individual and collective school/professional development based on student needs • writing evaluations, individual development plans, assessments, and other documentation • actively contributing in work teams, subject teams, teams, working groups, staff meetings, and workplace meetings • participating in systematic quality work and development work based on national and local governing documents • preventing, investigating, and managing problematic absences and promoting regular attendance • adapting learning environments and supporting students with guidance and stimulation, additional adjustments, and contributing to investigations • participating in values-based work to promote safety and an orderly learning environment and prevent bullying and harassment • handling school-related and unplanned student incidents during, for example, recess duty and lunch supervision Teaching is scheduled on Thursdays & Fridays. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with completed teacher education with appropriate qualifications and certification, which is a basic requirement for the position. You have good knowledge of the Education Act, the curriculum (Lgr22), and other relevant governing documents and can apply these in your daily work. In your role as a teacher, you are expected to work based on a shared understanding of the mission of the operation, where the best interests, needs, and wishes of children and young people are at the center. Through your professional competence and active participation as a colleague, you contribute to ensuring each child and student's entire educational journey. Your role in daily interaction and dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues is crucial for achieving the goal of equitable education and instruction of high quality where all children and students succeed. You are expected to take full responsibility for the results achieved, both academically and socially, and contribute to safe and inclusive education and instruction. With a positive and solution-oriented approach, you work from a holistic perspective on the child's and student's development and learning. Ultimately, the mission is to ensure that each child and student receives the best possible education and instruction, based on both national and local governing documents and the school's knowledge and values-based mission. You will become part of an environment with competent colleagues and engaged school leaders who work together to create successful, accessible learning environments.
