Kunskapsskolan Enköping is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 550 students. The school opened in 2001, and in 2020 we moved into brand-new state-of-the-art facilities a stone's throw from the railway station and bus terminal. For every student to reach as far as possible, we need skilled teachers with great commitment to their students. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center and therefore seek someone who actively works to ensure that your students succeed.
At Kunskapsskolan, we have a strong team approach where we share both challenges and successes. You are never alone with difficulties and questions, whether in subject teaching or with individual students or groups. We help each other plan work in subject teams and grade-level teams. Communication among teachers is open, and we share responsibility for our students.
We have a digital portal, Kunskapsporten, where suggestions for teaching methods, assignments, and useful links are provided for each subject. All our students have access to their own Chromebook. We also have a nice library at the school.
Qualifications
We seek a certified Swedish language teacher for grades 7-9. You must be well familiar with LGR-22 and formative assessment.
Meritorious Qualifications
We prefer that you have several years of teaching experience. Most importantly, we want you to be someone who enjoys collaborating with colleagues, students, and guardians and is solution-focused.
We highly value your commitment, pedagogical competence, and ability to establish and build strong relationships. We want you to be a stable and trustworthy person who can build confidence with students.
Position Details
The position is currently a one-year substitute role at 80% but may be expanded and extended depending on other qualifications and changes at the school.
