JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher of Swedish as a Second Language within SFI, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching for your student group. It is important that you are flexible and accustomed to working with mixed groups where you tailor instruction to each individual's needs and circumstances.
You follow up on participants' progress and attendance and adjust as needed. You participate in collaborative work around national tests.
Evening teaching may occur.
You are part of a team with other SFI teachers. In the team, you are a good team player and work continuously to develop your teaching.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with experience and qualifications to teach SFI across all study paths. It is meritorious if you have experience teaching adults with little or no educational background.
You have high digital competence and can make assignments and teaching accessible both digitally and in the classroom. We work extensively with teaching development, so we want you to be interested in working closely with your colleagues and exploring new methods that increase learning.
You are creative, collaborate easily, see the potential in each individual, and create opportunities for learning both in school and outside the school environment. You are organized and knowledgeable about the school's governing documents as well as assessment and grading.
