Description
This is a project position for 33 months funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). It is a combined role with part project management and the remainder as a team member in the SAMSA project – Collaboration for Studies and Work.
The project shall develop and offer interventions for individuals far from studies and the labor market, to promote increased attendance and reduce study dropouts within upper secondary education for adults and adult education in various forms. Interventions to strengthen individuals' ability to begin/complete upper secondary studies within municipal adult education, folk high schools, or other forms of education. As well as outreach and motivational work aimed at strengthening individuals' opportunities for labor market integration.
Work Tasks
The local project coordinator is responsible, together with the local project team member, for operational work with participants in the municipalities. Responsibility for reporting budget and activities to the regional level. Participates in the regional project group's work, all dissemination activities, education and evaluation initiatives, and all other project-related tasks. Knowledge in integrating horizontal principles of equality, accessibility, and non-discrimination. The position involves outreach and motivational work with the target group to encourage studies and support and guide participants in their studies.
Qualifications
You hold a teaching degree and have good experience in educational activities. You have project management experience and knowledge and a strong ability to implement new working methods and approaches.
As a project leader and teacher, you find it easy to drive work forward, collaborate well with people, and have strong pedagogical knowledge. You are accustomed to taking own initiative and have previous experience with administrative tasks. You have good interpersonal skills and easily build trust and relationships with others.

To work in Älvkarleby Municipality, you must be able to present a valid ID document showing your citizenship. In some cases, you must also provide a document proving your right to work in Sweden. If you are offered employment, you must be able to present one of the following:
