Bo School is a grades F-3 school with 185 students located in a beautiful setting with excellent transportation on northern Lidingö. At Bo School, we learn for life with joy and commitment. JOB DUTIES Your assignment is to drive pedagogical development forward together with your team and contribute to a positive work environment, filled with joy and energy. Together with your colleagues, you create an aftercare program where students feel safe and seen, have the opportunity to learn new things, and are inspired toward health and movement in many different ways throughout the day. You plan and develop the program together with colleagues and students in grades F-3. Planned recess activities where we utilize our fantastic school grounds and nearby surroundings are the responsibility of the aftercare program and an important and appreciated part of the students' school day. Your role as a leisure pedagogue at Bo School is to provide guidance and stimulation for students' learning and personal development based on their individual circumstances, as well as to offer a developmental, enjoyable, and meaningful leisure time. It is important that you can capture and foster students' interests and communicate well with our parents/guardians. With us, you are offered stimulating work together with engaged students, educators, and parents/guardians. The school is organized in teams where each grade level forms a unit where teachers and aftercare staff work closely together. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you—a confident and engaged educator with the ability to create motivation, participation, and joy of learning in students. You take responsibility for your work, work independently and in a structured manner, and drive activities from planning to implementation. You are a certified teacher for aftercare or a leisure pedagogue with previous experience in the profession. You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with others. Through a professional and relationship-building approach, you build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians. Employment form: Permanent position.
