Olovslunds and Nockebyhovs schools are located in the scenic Bromma area. Nockebyhovsskolan with approximately 100 students (grades F-3) is situated between Judarskogen and Lake Mälaren. The main school, Olovslundsskolan, with approximately 500 students (grades F-6), including adapted primary education, is located next to Olovslunds Park. A competent and experienced staff has established the foundation for a stable organization and positive culture. The school is attractive to students, parents, and staff and has high demand, which creates favorable conditions for a sustainable organization. The school's vision "We learn and develop together" permeates the work at both our schools, and active pedagogical development efforts have resulted in us achieving high results year after year in terms of both academic knowledge and student well-being and satisfaction.
Your role
At Olovslundsskolan, we have grade-based after-school departments in grades F-3, and we are now seeking a teacher for the after-school program for one of our grades. You will work together with the other educators in the after-school program to plan, implement, and evaluate instruction after school and in half-class teaching. You will also be involved in the grade's classes and work with the classroom teachers on students' social and academic development.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for someone who is trained and certified as a teacher for after-school programs. It is an asset if you have a specialization in music.
You have knowledge of and ideas about how to work together with your colleagues to realize the curriculum's goals and values. Your focus on children is clear and reflected in your daily approach.
In your professional role, you are engaged, professional, and take initiative. You are also responsible and well-organized with a strong ability to plan and prioritize your work efficiently. Your collaboration skills are excellent, and your treatment of students, parents, and colleagues is friendly and respectful. You can make individual adjustments for students based on their needs.
We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis during the application period.
