Beckombergaskolan is a beloved F-6 school located in a beautiful natural setting on the outskirts of Bromma. The school has approximately 480 students and approximately 75 employees. Here, competent and solution-oriented staff work with great interest and commitment to student development and learning. Students, staff, and guardians enjoy being at our school.
In fall 2026, we are expanding our operations with an adapted primary school. An operation that will start on a smaller scale and be expanded in the coming school years.
The school is conducting development work around language and knowledge-building teaching methods and accessible learning environments. Beckombergaskolan is a well-organized school with good routines and practices.
Our interdisciplinary student support team consists of special education teachers, school psychologist, counselor, school nurse, behavioral scientist, and school leadership.
The school has excellent facilities and a fantastic schoolyard that offers opportunities for movement and creative play during breaks and after-school time.
Our school restaurant Matlunden has its own kitchen and serves good and nutritious food every day.

Your role
With us, you will have a shared position that includes teaching physical education and health at approximately 50% and work in after-school care at 50%.
As a teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in physical education and health as well as in the after-school setting based on the curriculum's goals. You contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where students have the opportunity to develop both socially and academically.
You will work closely with your colleagues to create a good learning environment and quality instruction.
The relational perspective is important to us at Beckombergaskolan. We believe that students learn best when they feel safe and have good relationships with the adults at school. So it's important to us that you value creating good relationships with our students.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who are trained and have a teaching license for after-school care with a specialization in physical education and health.
You are creative and curious and want to develop physical education instruction so that all students experience joy in movement, self-confidence, and trust in their own abilities.
You are relationship-building and establish trusting relationships.
You have a positive and solution-focused approach.
You have good and clear leadership with student groups.
You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with colleagues, students, and guardians.
You work in a structured manner and create clarity and security in daily routines.
You are confident and stable in your professional role and meet students with a calm and attentive approach.
You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is a merit if:
You have experience working with students in adapted primary school and have good knowledge of NPF.

This position is a temporary vacation position.
