Your Assignment As an after-school teacher, you will work with students in grades 4-6 and be a present and supportive educator during the school day, at breaks, and in the after-school club activities following the end of the school day. You will be part of an engaged team for grades 4-6 where teachers, childcare staff, resource educators, and after-school teachers work closely together. In daily work, you collaborate with both teachers and the after-school team to create the best conditions for students' learning, development, and safety. You plan and structure the school day together to ensure students receive the best possible instruction and development. In close collaboration with colleagues in the after-school club, you plan, implement, and evaluate activities based on established guidelines. You work from the perspective that the after-school club is part of the school's instruction, where activities are planned with a clear educational purpose and connected to the school's focus areas. Together, you create a safe, inspiring, and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors, where students' social and educational development is in focus. Your Experience For this position, you must have: - Secondary or post-secondary education as a childcare worker, after-school educator, after-school leader, teacher, or other pedagogical education that the employer deems relevant - Experience working in a school setting - Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is advantageous if you also have: - Teaching credentials as an after-school teacher - Experience working in school with students in grades 4-6 - Experience working in after-school settings - Experience with NPF diagnoses and working with students needing additional support and special accommodations - Experience leading colleagues and educational work in the after-school setting Is This You?
