Stommenskolan is an F-6 school located centrally in Kinna. The school is divided into an F-3 unit and a 4-6 unit with associated after-school programs. Under the same roof as the school is also an adapted primary school grades 1-6. We have approximately 330 students at the school.

WORK TASKS
You will:
Plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in grade 3 as part of a three-teacher team.
Work closely with colleagues in your work team.
Contribute to students' academic and social development.
Be part of an engaged team that sees the whole student's day.
You are a secure and clear leader in the classroom and see relationship building as a prerequisite for success in working with students. You have a coaching approach with the ability to create a learning environment where each student develops as far as possible.
You are unpretentious and see opportunities in working together with others.
You have the ability to meet each student based on their conditions and have experience working with children from different cultures and varying social backgrounds.
The work involves mentoring, classroom teaching, hands-on work with students in need of support, and work across multiple grade levels. The teachers in the F-3 work team will be your closest colleagues. We place great value on collegial collaboration within the team and across the entire school.
QUALIFICATIONS
We seek a certified teacher with broad qualifications who wants to help develop instruction at our school. You have both engagement, pedagogical competence, and collaborative skills. You should be flexible and keep the student in focus when designing your teaching. You are solution-focused and have a positive attitude. You work well with others and create good, trustworthy relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are a secure and clear person with the ability to create predictability and structure.
Teacher certification is required.
