JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will teach grades 7-9 in mathematics and chemistry and collaborate with other math/science teachers at the school. We have three well-equipped science rooms with adjoining prep rooms that you share with your colleagues. The position is a temporary assignment covering for a regular teacher on sick leave. The assignment also includes serving as a mentor for a class together with another mentor colleague. We are a permissive workplace with a high ceiling, where the team comes before the individual. Together we create a safe and positive school for both students and employees. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are certified to teach Math and Chemistry in grades 7-9. We also expect that you, like us, see it as self-evident that teaching includes: - secure leadership and an ethical approach anchored in the curriculum's values foundation - good ability to establish and develop good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues - that development and collegial learning are the foundation for continued learning - that you see the work team as a natural context for collaboration Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
