The Department of Children and Education includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school care, upper secondary school, and adult education. Our department currently has just over 200 employees.
We lay the foundation for lifelong learning by offering safe care and stimulating learning environments. We actively work with guided interaction and base our approach on children's and students' prerequisites and their personal abilities.

Hidinge School is a preschool-grade 6 school with approximately 340 students and 35 employees. The school is located near Lanna, approximately 20 km outside Örebro. The school is organized into four work teams; two teams for preschool-grade 3, grades 4-6, and after-school care. Our school strives for high participation and a good working environment where a holistic approach is prioritized.

Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an engaged teacher, preferably in mathematics for grade 5 at Hidinge School. For the right person, we welcome long-term collaboration and future opportunities within our organization.
As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction so that students are given the best possible conditions to develop, both academically and socially. You assess students' knowledge, conduct development conversations, and maintain close dialogue with parents/guardians.
We believe in close collaboration between teachers, student support services, and other professionals at the school. You will be part of a work team where we help each other, share experiences, and develop instruction together.

We work with guided interaction (ICDP) and a solution-focused approach.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
a primary school teacher degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach grades 4–6 (preferably mathematics) or a degree and awaiting certification
good knowledge of the curriculum and school's governing documents
good digital competence and experience using digital tools in instruction.
It is advantageous if you have experience teaching in primary school and/or training in ICDP (guided interaction). Experience with mentoring and working with student support services is also advantageous.
We are looking for a teacher who is confident in their leadership and who builds good relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues. You have high expectations for students, see possibilities rather than obstacles, and enjoy developing instruction together with others. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Start date by agreement.
