The goal is for students to develop as far as possible based on their conditions and achieve eligibility for national upper secondary school programs. DUTIES As a teacher in the special education group, you are responsible for mentoring and teaching in smaller student groups. You plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction based on students' individual needs and conditions, while maintaining a clear focus on learning objectives. Through a formative and relationship-building approach with high expectations, you create participation and guide student learning forward. You exercise clear and secure pedagogical leadership in the classroom where structure, study environment, and predictability are central elements. Instruction is adapted through varied working methods and support structures to create motivation and make learning accessible to all students. The assignment also includes: · being a mentor and supporting students' academic and social development · documenting, following up, and analyzing student development · collaborating with guardians, student services, and subject teachers · working closely with colleagues within the unit and contributing to program development · ensuring that instruction and working methods are based on scientific grounds and proven experience QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: · is a certified teacher · has experience teaching math and science · has experience working with students with neurodevelopmental disabilities who are in need of special support · has the ability to differentiate and adapt instruction to students' different needs · has clear and secure classroom leadership · has good collaboration skills and experience working in teams around students · has the ability to create good relationships and motivate students in need of special support · has a strong commitment to student learning and health It is meritorious if you: · have knowledge of or experience with special education, clarifying pedagogy, and neurodevelopmental disabilities · have experience working in smaller teaching groups We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who: · is secure, stable, and persistent in your professional role · is organized and self-directed with good ability to drive your work forward · has good collaboration skills and works solution-focused with others · has a holistic perspective and contributes to program development · has good analytical ability and can handle complex student situations · creates trusting relationships and meets students with a professional approach Employment Type: Permanent employment.
