Your Assignment In your role as a teacher of mathematics, natural sciences, and physical education, you will teach students in grades 4-6. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in your subjects based on the national curriculum. You adapt teaching according to students' needs, interests, and abilities. You monitor, assess, grade, and document students' learning progress. Your role includes serving as a mentor for a grade 6 class. To create good conditions for students, you work closely with other teachers, school leadership, and the student welfare team. During parts of the school day, you teach three classes in grades 4-6 physical education and health. Through safe, inclusive, and movement-inspiring instruction, you actively work to develop students' physical abilities and foster joy in movement. The school has another physical education teacher with whom you collaborate closely on sports-related activities and traditions, such as the school's Olympic Day, swimming instruction, ice skating, and sports days. You are part of the teaching team for grades 4-6, where you collaborate on students, planning, assessment, grading, pedagogical development, and systematic quality work. Your Experience For this position, you must have: - Teacher certification with subject qualification for grades 4-6 in mathematics and natural sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics) - Experience working as a teacher - Strong digital competence with experience using digital pedagogical tools - Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is an advantage if you also have: - Subject qualification for grades 4-6 in physical education - Experience teaching physical education, mathematics, and natural sciences in middle grades - Experience as a mentor - Experience working with students needing additional adjustments and special support Is This You?
