Teacher for afterschool program sought for a temporary position at 75%
Do you want to make a difference in a small operation where relationships, creativity, and security are central?
We are now seeking a teacher for our afterschool program for a fixed-term temporary position at 75%, for the period September 7 to January 15.
With us you will meet a smaller afterschool program with approximately 34 students, where closeness, community, and good relationships are a natural part of everyday life. We are looking for someone who is a calm and secure person with great commitment to children's development and learning.
Job Responsibilities
In the role of afterschool teacher, you are responsible together with colleagues for planning, implementing, and developing the afterschool program's activities in accordance with applicable governing documents. You contribute to creating a meaningful, stimulating, and secure leisure time for our students.
The position also includes planning and implementing activities during certain school breaks.
Working hours are primarily scheduled for afternoons, which align with the afterschool program's operating hours.
We are looking for someone who
Is a trained afterschool teacher or has other education/experience that the employer deems relevant.
Has good knowledge of the afterschool program's mission and governing documents.
Is calm, secure, and has a positive approach.
Is creative and resourceful in your work with children.
Has a very good ability to create and develop relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
Takes responsibility, collaborates well, and contributes to a good work environment.
