Automation Instructor Employer: TeknikAkademin Norden AB Scope: Full-time / Part-time Start date: By agreement About the role TeknikAkademin Norden AB is seeking an instructor in automation, instrumentation, and process technology who wants to educate the next generation of technicians and engineers in modern process industries. The role encompasses teaching industrial automation, control and regulation technology, process engineering, and instrumentation. The focus is on how automated processes are planned, controlled, monitored, and optimized using modern control systems, process instruments, and digital solutions. Your responsibilities Teach automation, instrumentation, and process technology, PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and control and regulation technology Introduce process instruments, sensors, transmitters, control valves, and calibration Teach process monitoring, troubleshooting, and process optimization Convey technical documentation, P&ID, electrical schematics, and systematic working methods Connect theory to laboratory work, industry-relevant projects, and practical applications We are looking for someone who Has experience in automation, process technology, or instrumentation Has worked with PLC, SCADA, or DCS systems in process industries Has a good understanding of industrial processes in, for example, energy, water and sanitation, food, chemicals, or manufacturing industries Is pedagogical, structured, and clear in your communication Has strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Meritorious: Experience in teaching or mentoring, as well as knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, ABB 800xA, Emerson DeltaV, Schneider EcoStruxure, or similar automation platforms.
