Ekgården Adapted Gymnasium School is seeking a teacher in Vagnhärad, Trosa Municipality. Ekgården offers individualized programs for students with disabilities. Teaching is based on individually designed curricula with a focus on independence training, aesthetic forms of expression, and handicrafts. You will work in a team consisting of a principal, school administrator, teachers, and student assistants. Work tasks include: Formulate individual goals in the student's study plan. Ensure that the curriculum/work plan is followed. Supervise student assistants in daily pedagogical work. Ensure that an individually tailored school schedule exists for each student's needs and communication style. Work within AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). We are looking for you with strong commitment to young people and agreement on working with student development/learning. Meritorious is experience working with students in adapted schools. Open to new working methods and have a positive view of people. It is important that you have good collaboration skills in relation to students, colleagues, and parents. You need to be a calm and stable person with a good ability to find individual solutions for students. Students are at the center, which is why it is important that you as a person fit into the organization. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
