DUTIES We are seeking a teacher with certification to teach German in grades 6-9. Your role consists of planning, conducting, and following up on instruction in your subject. Mentoring and other standard teaching duties are, of course, included. You will be part of a team that together creates a safe, engaging, and challenging learning environment while actively working to support and motivate students in their development, both socially and academically. You will work with skilled and engaged colleagues, and together with them develop instruction and school activities with the students' best interests in mind. We believe that classroom leadership is crucial for student achievement. We prioritize good treatment of everyone and we believe in our students' potential to succeed. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has/is: • a teaching degree with a valid teaching credential in German. • strong ability to use digital tools in your instruction. • strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We consider it a merit if you are certified in an additional subject, which could result in a higher employment percentage. Your personal qualities are important to us and we place great emphasis on them. As a person, we are looking for someone who is engaged and positive with good leadership qualities. You have a strong ability to collaborate, are good at building relationships, and value respectful interactions.
