Brinells Middle School is a grades 7-9 school that also includes an adapted primary program. We have approximately 370 students at the school. Our school is characterized by diversity and inclusion, and we actively work with language development. Students from different cultures mix here, which enriches teaching and the school environment. Safety, responsibility, and respect are the school's guiding principles and permeate all our activities. DUTIES
In your role as a textile arts teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing instruction based on the curriculum and other governing documents. You actively work with the school's core values and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
You collaborate with the school's various professionals to support students' learning and development. As part of a grade-level team, you participate in systematic quality work and contribute to the school's development. You work to ensure that students are given the best possible conditions to develop both academically and socially, and you stimulate them to progress as far as possible in their development.
At Brinells Middle School, mentoring is also part of the assignment. Together with a mentor colleague, you are responsible for a class and work to create safety, good relationships, and positive development for the students. In the mentor role, you have regular contact with guardians and follow students' academic and social development.
