Welcome to apply for the position of textile arts teacher at Bors School.
Bors School is a pleasant grades 7-9 school just outside Värnamo. It is within commuting distance from both Alvesta and Växjö. The facilities are well-designed, functional, and were recently renovated.
Our prioritized goals for the school year are classroom leadership, encouraging dialogue while valuing student focus.
Job Responsibilities
The position involves teaching students textile arts at Bors School and a nearby elementary school (grades F-6). At the school, you will be part of a work team and subject team. You will also share mentorship of a class with a colleague.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who is a qualified/certified teacher in textile arts. The position requires commitment, responsibility, and planning ability. It is important that as a person you are clear, attentive, and show respect for students' needs. You recognize the value of building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are comfortable with digital technology and have high standards for making teaching accessible to all.
