It is a large workplace – every day we welcome approximately 1500 students! To provide a good operation, we have approximately 200 employees. The school has motivated students and knowledgeable staff. Our upper secondary programs are located at three different school units: Rönnegymnasiet, Valhall College, and Victoriaskolan. WORK DUTIES We are seeking an engaged teacher who wants to work with us at Ängelholms gymnasieskola to inspire students and create a school where both students and employees feel a strong sense of participation. Together, we strive to continuously improve the content and results of our operations. The position mainly includes teaching, assessment, and planning. In addition, other customary tasks within the scope of the teaching role are included. You will be part of a work team within your subject area and will work to develop teaching together with other educators. The position includes teaching in both university-preparatory and vocational-preparatory programs, and is primarily located at Rönnegymnasiet in central Ängelholm. QUALIFICATIONS You are a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish as a Second Language at the upper secondary level. It is a merit if you have several years of experience in pedagogical work with young people. In addition to your subject-specific knowledge, you also have other important qualities that contribute to creating a good working environment for both students and employees. For students, you are a safe and clear leader in various teaching situations. You have the ability to inspire and engage them in learning based on their varied circumstances. In your communication with students, colleagues, and guardians, you are attentive, flexible, and have a calm and friendly demeanor. Furthermore, you easily create trust in your various relationships. As a person, you are driven and curious about constantly learning new things. You see learning as an important part of both your students' and your personal development. Good teamwork ability, experience of working in teams, and an interest in driving pedagogical development work are important qualities. You are open to working across program and subject boundaries and are agile in doing so. You have an interest in how we together, regardless of our different roles, can work with student health and wellbeing. The students are your primary priority and you collaborate with students and staff in an unpretentious manner so that the operation can flourish. It is a given that you use digital tools.
