We are seeking a certified teacher for grades 7-9 (the position involves teaching in grades 5-9). Karstorpskolan is an F-9 school with approximately 700 students distributed across different buildings. The school is located in a residential area in the southeastern part of Lomma. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES At Karstorpskolan we are now seeking an engaged teacher certified in Swedish/English. You are driven by curiosity and a desire to meet our students and their needs. You can be the teacher our students need and help them believe in themselves. Sparking interest in your subjects is a natural part of teaching, as is relational work. You will be part of a teaching team and share mentoring responsibilities for a class. As a teacher with us at Karstorpskolan, your responsibilities include: • Plan and deliver instruction according to curriculum guidelines • Assess and be responsible for grading • Serve as a mentor (shared mentorship) for a class, conduct development meetings, and maintain close parent contact when needed • Collaborate in teaching teams and subject teams, participate in development time and workplace meetings • Work with the student support team to create good conditions for learning and safety QUALIFICATIONS You • are certified and qualified in Swedish and English for grades 7-9 • are solution-focused • are skilled at building relationships • see the potential in all students • have strong collaboration skills • take personal responsibility • are driven to develop pedagogical work and our learning environments We use continuous selection, so you are warmly welcome to submit your application today. We report salaries for the 10th and 90th percentile: 43,450 - 55,110 kr/month. The salary range is specified in accordance with applicable transparency regulations.
