The Preschool and Primary School Administration is one of Varberg Municipality's largest departments with nearly 2,200 employees. Within our areas of preschool, primary school, and child and student well-being, we are here for children and students—together we shape the future. Bosgårdsskolan is one of Varberg's largest primary schools, located in Tvååker where community meets nature. Approximately 580 students and 80 employees meet here every day. Here, children and young people have a unique opportunity to grow together with their peers, while enjoying the security of being part of a community that spans from preschool class through grade 9. Our educators work collaboratively each week on teaching development. By jointly evaluating and analyzing our approaches, we ensure that we create the best possible instruction for our students. Our goal is clear: we want to be a school for all, where each student is given the conditions to reach as far as possible toward both their social and academic goals. Currently, we are in a renewal phase as Bosgårdsskolan is undergoing extensive renovation. Therefore, our operations are currently distributed across facilities in both Tvååker and central Varberg. We continue to drive our pedagogical development with the same high ambition while awaiting our return to our new facilities. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a teacher with us, you have a central role in creating a secure, developing, and motivating environment where we together create the best possible learning experience. By planning, implementing, and following up on your instruction, you give students the conditions to grow based on their unique needs and goals. Main duties: • Teaching in grades 2-6, with instruction in SVA (smaller groups) and in the subject of Visual Arts. • Plan, lead, and evaluate instruction based on curriculum documents and chosen didactic strategies. • Meet each student in their learning progression and strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-esteem through professional leadership. • Develop stimulating learning environments that encourage learning, participation, and student influence. • Work toward a holistic perspective of the student's school day through close collaboration with colleagues and guardians. • Actively participate in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to a formative approach in daily pedagogy. QUALIFICATIONS It is important to us that you have a genuine commitment to the teaching profession and see it as a meaningful mission to make a difference for children and young people. You are a secure pedagogical leader who, with warmth and clarity, provides guidance and creates the structure necessary for a safe learning environment. For you, collaboration with colleagues is a prerequisite for success; you work unpretentiously to develop operations together with others. You are skilled at building relationships and create trusting contacts with both students and guardians. You have a good sense of the group, are flexible, have didactic ability, and adapt your methods based on students' different needs, learning progression, and state of mind. We seek you who: • Have teacher certification with qualifications for instruction in SVA, or alternatively Swedish, and Visual Arts for grades 1-6. • Have the ability to base your instruction on proven experience and scientific foundation. • Demonstrate skill in planning and systematically following up operations based on given parameters. • Have good assessment ability to follow up on students' development and provide constructive feedback. • Possess clear planning ability to structure lessons and work areas. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date 2026-08-17, Start date by agreement, End date: 2026-12-18.
