Teacher of Swedish as a Second Language & Social Studies Grades 4-6 - Temporary Position Internationella Engelska Skolan Eskilstuna is now seeking a certified teacher of Swedish as a Second Language & Social Studies for grades 4-6, who wants to make a difference in our students' development and learning. Qualifications As a teacher of Swedish as a Second Language & Social Studies with us, you plan and deliver instruction that inspires a passion for learning. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment where each student has the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. You collaborate closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's pedagogical development. We are looking for someone who: has Swedish teaching certification with authorization to teach Swedish as a Second Language & Social Studies in grades 4-6 is confident in your leadership creates inspiring instruction and a sense of security in your student groups can express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English is motivated by seeing students develop and achieve success has a respectful demeanor and a strong ability to establish and develop relationships with students, parents, and colleagues enjoys collaborating and contributing to a positive work environment About the Role In this role, you will, among other things: work toward a stimulating classroom environment for effective instruction and learning plan and deliver instruction maintain the school's positive ethos and values, both inside and outside the classroom communicate with parents regarding students' development, progress, and achievement monitor and document students' development of knowledge serve as a mentor to students What We Offer You With us, you have the opportunity to work in an inspiring and developmental environment together with engaged colleagues.
