Kopperskolan is situated peacefully in a natural setting close to the city center and sports facilities. It has approximately 320 students from preschool class through grade 6. DUTIES As a teacher of Swedish as a second language, you will work with instruction, planning, follow-up, documentation, and values-based work according to the curriculum Lgr22. You will take a language and knowledge-development approach and adapt instruction to students' needs and abilities. You will collaborate with colleagues to promote school development and create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed. Instruction varies and is designed to support students' language development and learning. You will vary your instruction and adapt to the group so that all students learn and develop. Working as a teacher means continuously developing based on the students we meet. You should have strong pedagogical competence and be well-versed in primary school's governing documents and in using digital tools in your instruction. QUALIFICATIONS We seek you as a certified teacher with credentials in Swedish as a second language, preferably in combination with another subject. You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom, with the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. It is advantageous if you also have special education teacher training, as part of the assignment involves special education duties. You should have an approach where student involvement and flexibility are a natural part. You are a good leader with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You have qualities that include both structure and creativity. You have strong collaboration skills and actively contribute to a positive work environment.
