Who are we?
Kyrkskolan is a grades F-6 school located in the Eneby area with approximately 340 students and 45 staff members. The school operates as a two-parallel system with after-school care. We have a wonderful outdoor environment with large areas for play and instruction, as well as proximity to forest.
We have a highly competent staff group consisting of preschool teachers, teachers, and elementary school teachers specializing in after-school care who work together in the classrooms. Together, we work to give all students the opportunity to develop according to their abilities.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for teaching in grades 4-5. You should have Swedish and Social Studies in your education, preferably additional subjects as well. As a teacher, you work to ensure students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially. You actively work to influence and stimulate students to achieve their goals.
You create instruction that, based on the teacher's interpretation and understanding, meets the requirements of the School Act, curriculum, course plan, and subject plan. You are subject-knowledgeable and can guide students, plan and lead instruction. You further assess and grade students' knowledge development. You actively participate in the school's development. Documentation of your work is part of the assignment.
Who are you?
We seek you as a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in Swedish and Social Studies. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and feel confident in implementing the curriculum's intentions in your teaching. If you have qualifications in additional subjects, that is a merit.
As a person, you have genuine commitment to students' learning and believe that all students can and want to succeed. You build trusting relationships by being attentive, empathetic, and clear in your interactions. You enjoy collaborating and gladly share your experience while appreciating learning from others. Through your positive approach, you contribute to a good work climate and strong community at the school.
You are flexible and adapt your working method based on the needs of the school and students. You see changes as a natural part of the work and have the ability to quickly adjust when the situation requires it. You take responsibility for your assignment, drive your work forward, and actively contribute to the school's continued development. We also see that you have an interest in developing both instruction and operations from a long-term perspective.
