In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Here, a safe and supportive environment is created with high expectations, which gives students good opportunities to achieve their goals. Digital development has long been a natural part of our operations, and each student has access to a personal computer as a support in teaching. Our shared values and an organization with close decision-making paths contribute to participation, clarity, and good opportunities for development.
Norrsätraskolan 7–9 is located in the western district of Norrsätra, close to forests and recreational areas. Approximately 330 students attend the school, and about 45 dedicated employees work here. On the school grounds there is also a 4–6 school and an adapted primary school. With us, we make each other better and work together to create a safe and developing learning environment for all students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Spanish teacher for grades 6-9, you become an important part of creating teaching where student development is at the center. You work both independently and together with your team to develop teaching in a sustainable and well-thought-out way.
You contribute by:
• Creating teaching based on students' needs and conditions
• Being a clear leader and role model in the classroom
• Building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Actively participating in the school's development work in digitalization, values, and language development
We make each other better by:
• Sharing experiences and knowledge in collegial forums
• Working with a solution-focused approach
• Developing teaching together in teams
• Taking shared responsibility for students' safety and learning
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, you need good pedagogical insight and understand how students acquire knowledge in different ways. You adapt teaching based on individual needs and create conditions for learning. A structured approach helps you plan and follow up on teaching in a clear and effective manner.
Collaboration is a natural part of daily life. You work attentively with colleagues, share experiences, and contribute to an open climate where teaching is developed together. In a changing school environment, it is also important to be able to embrace new ideas and methods and see the opportunities in them. By being development-oriented, you contribute to the school's collective learning.
The position requires:
• Teaching certification with qualification in Spanish
• Good knowledge of primary school curricula and regulations
• Good Swedish proficiency, both spoken and written
Good digital competence and experience using digital tools are advantageous.
