Your responsibilities We are seeking a qualified teacher in Social Studies, preferably with all subjects. You will be part of a work team with grade 9 and serve as a mentor in one of the classes together with two other mentors. You will teach Swedish in grade 8 and grade 9, totaling 4 classes. You plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on our governing documents. You participate in work teams and subject teams, collaborate with guardians, and contribute to collegial learning at the school. Who are you? You are a certified teacher with credentials in Social Studies to teach grades 7-9. If you have previous experience in pedagogical work and a broad subject combination, we view that positively. You are well versed in the school's governing documents and have strong knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. You are a confident and engaged teacher with broad pedagogical competence and a relational approach. Further, you enjoy working closely with students of different ages and see the value in creating structure, participation, and safety—both in the classroom and in collegial collaboration. You communicate clearly, adapt your language to your audience, and ensure that all students understand. You are also experienced in meeting students who challenge, and have the ability to create good relationships and instruction that meets students' different needs. You coach students and provide support that develops their potential. You persist through setbacks and work purposefully despite obstacles. You easily adapt to new situations and work methods and see change as a natural part of school development. You are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and experiences and actively contributes to good collegial collaboration.
